Few names in Oregon wine carry the weight of David Adelsheim's. Among the pioneering voices who believed in the Willamette Valley before the world was paying attention, Adelsheim planted his first vines in 1972 and spent the decades that followed not only building one of the region's most respected estates, but helping shape the culture of collaboration and shared knowledge that defines Oregon wine country to this day. His presence at the table is, in many ways, a conversation with the history of this valley itself.

Chef Christy Smith and Farmer Elena Mudrak will honor that legacy with a late-summer menu drawn from the farm at its most abundant — a fitting tribute to a man who has given his life to coaxing extraordinary things from Oregon soil.
